In the Mood Sunflower Mix
Bold colors and so many cheery flowers in this mix! We have been saving these seeds and growing them for years. Each year we get the excitement of seeing the new colors that emerge. These sunnies are a mix of single and branching stems from rich dark chocolate, to golden orange. Nothing says summer, like beautiful sunflowers!
25 seeds
Growing Tips
Direct sow about 1/2” deep in light well draining soil in full sunlight.
Space plants 12” apart. For larger blooms, space the seeds further apart. For smaller bouquet size blooms, plant closer together.
Watch for germination in 7-14 days.
The birds and other garden friends, or enemies, love the seeds and baby seedlings. We recommend planting and covering with a light colored thin sheet or frost cover until the seedlings have a true set of leaves.
To have blooms all summer, plant seeds every couple of weeks.
65-70 days to maturity/blooms.
Annual flower.
Grows up to 6 ft.
