OUR WHY

For as long as I can remember, I have a curiosity and love for flowers. What first comes to mind is each year helping my grandpa plant his window boxes. We’d spend time together strolling our favorite local nursey finding the perfect flowers that represented him. We loved learning about new varieties and finding the perfect conditions to make them bloom beautifully through the summer.

In my early twenties I became a teacher. Each spring my class would learn through growing flowers and vegetables. Our reading, writing and math became meaningful as we worked to grow healthy plants to share with our community. It was so inspiring to watch my students be excited about learning and to share their hard work with others. I was also learning right along side of my students. There was so much joy and fun in working in the soil, growing beautiful plants and sharing them with others.

My heart was all in on flowers once we bought our new home. There’s a precious nostalgia that grounds me in this work, remembering faces, the stories, and the smiles that makes this journey so incredibly worth it. The feeling of togetherness fills my soul.

I love what I do and I look forward to uniquely blooming with you!

Meet the Help

Our two goofy pups are always out in the gardens with me. They love strolling the flower fields. Sometimes their help is less than helpful, but they are cute and keep the bunnies away!
