Verbena

$4.00

We fell in love with this purple beauty last year and so did our butterflies and hummingbirds! It’s wide spread stems and off shoots add the perfect peek of a soft purple in bouquets. You can get multiple harvests off this long blooming plant.

approx. 50 seeds

Growing Tips

  • Start seeds 8-12 weeks before last frost and just lightly cover the seeds. Keep soil damp but not overly wet. This is recommended unless you have a long growing season.

  • Watch for germination in 18-24 days.

  • Plant out after last frost.

  • Space about 24” apart because they will grow out.

  • It isn’t particularly picky about the soil.

  • Can grow up to 48” tall.

  • 90 days to maturity/bloom.

  • Annual in zones 6 and above - but we are experimenting with this here in MI Zone 5a!
