Growing Tips

  • Start seeds 4 weeks before last frost lightly covering seeds.

  • Direct sow 1/4” deep when soil is about 65-70 degrees.

  • Watch for germination in 7-14 days.

  • Plant out after any danger of frost. They are very sensitive to cold.

  • Space about 6-9” apart in full sun.

  • We recommend pinching the the middle step after 2 true sets of leaves. This promotes more blooms! Cut them deep to keep them from going to seed.

  • They aren’t particularly picky about the soil.

  • About 70 days to maturity/bloom.
